Breakfast pancakes

Yesterday I felt like having pancakes for breakfast. Normally I just eat a slice of bread with cheese or something.

The ingredients:

1 1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup caster sugar
25g butter

Whisk the milk, egg and villa extract together. Stir the flour and sugar together in another bowl. Add the two mixtures together.DSC00656

Heat up a pan. Add the butter and let it melt.

Cook the pancakes on one sides for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip it around. Cook the pancakes on the other sides for another minute.

You can serve the pancakes with fruit or chocolate sauce.

Yesterday my dad ask me if I could make some sauce for a pasta. I looked at ingredients we had at home and tried to make a sauce. I think it tasted very good.

The ingredients:

300 gram minced meat
1 canned peeled tomatoesDSC00326
2 large onions
1 garlic clove

Cut the onions and garlic into little pieces. Heat up a frying pan. Let the butter melt into the frying pan. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper. Make little pieces of the meat. Put the minced meat into the frying pan and cook it until all the meat is brown (not rare). Meanwhile cut the basil, parsley, oregano and chive.

Add the cut onions and garlic to the cooked meat. Cook that with the meat for a little bit.

Add the peeled tomatoes to the meat, onions and garlic. Add the basil, parsley, oregano and chive while stirring it around. Keep tasting and adding until you find the right flavour for you.

My family really liked the sauce. It is very simple sauce but you know what they say “Less is more.”
